Paul
Owner
Paul has been the sole proprietor of Cooinda for over the past 20 years, and has worked in all facets of the business. Paul is our head tour guide and cares for our beautiful landscaped gardens. He also assumes VIP Kitty Kab pick up and drop offs for our long term VIP clients. With Paul living onsite means ensures we offer 24 hour care of your kitty.
Casey
Head Chef
Casey has been with Cooinda for 7 years with a extensive knowledge of operations and is our 'Head Chef'. Maintaining a varied and fresh menu is Casey's prime responsibility. Casey ensures that all dietary requirements are met and that your kitty is monitored to ensure they are maintaining optimum health and well being during their stay with us.
Casey is the lucky owner of a Burmese called Lindor (yes she is chocolate colour) who supplies Casey with very funny cat stories to tell the girls at work. Lindor is a regular visitor at Cooinda and all of the Kitty Carers love her cuddles.
Kate
Operations Manager
Kate has been with Cooinda Cat Resort for almost 10 years. She started as a casual Kitty Carer and has worked her way up the ladder to full time operations manager where she has been for the last 7 years. Kate's feline knowledge and experience in cat health and handling is a major asset to Cooinda. Having had her own elderly, diabetic and sick cats she is an expert in the care and requirements of all of our guests especially our golden oldies.
Kate's can do attitude and management skills makes for a very productive, cohesive and happy team. Kate's desire to share her feline knowledge ensures all our the Kitty Carers are well trained in medication administration, dietary requirements, grooming and general health and wellbeing.
Kate lives on site at Cooinda and has 3 furbabies of her own, Sylvia (Silly Cat), Gus & Earl (all rescue cats) which she spoils at every chance she gets.
Mel
Office Manager
Mel started with Cooinda Cat Resort almost 5 years ago as a casual Kitty Carer in operations. She was then trained in the office and promoted to office manager only 6 months after she started. As office manager Mel looks after the day to day running of the office and also steps into operations as needed or when Kate is absent to administer medication and oversee the operations team. Mel is the friendly voice on the end of the phone or the fist point of call when you enter the office. She can assist you with your booking, including Kitty Kab, feline health advice, reports on your cats wellbeing during their stay and any other enquiries you may have.
Mel has only 1 feline friend at home, Floyd, who is a very funny rescue cat that she has had for 6 years. If she had the room I know she would definitely adopt more cats!
