Alan – Cats Stalking, Hippo Bopping, Crazy Fun

Alan the Burmese loves to pretend he is a Wild Cat Stalking his prey. He loves stalking the kitty carers walking around the Fernery Internal Gardens. He will hide in the grasses and his bum wiggles just before he pounces. He wraps his paws around their legs and then quickly lets go, runs a little away (about a half meter), and then rolls over onto his back. It’s a little like his in hysterics.

Alan is Extremely Playful. He also really enjoys the game – Hippo Bopping. We have 2 ceramic hippos in the gardens and Alan loves to sneak up on them and then bops them on the head and runs off. He does this all the time. It is hilarious because he doesnt just run a small distance and then roll over like he does with the kitty carers… He runs a mile.
