Idi’s Holiday Diary

Our Cat of the Month, Idi would love to share his Holiday Diary with you from his awe-inspiring retreat at Cooinda Cat Resort.

My wonderful mornings always begin with a prolonged headbutt followed by big smooches from the gorgeous kitty carers. I have them wrapped around my paw; as when I ask for them, whether its morning, noon, or evening; they are always there. I have them well trained to provide me with kisses the second they enter my room. Kisses are one of the main features of my amazing holiday. Let me tell you more!

I have two favourite places I love to spend my spare time. One is outside on my hammock, the other is in the Fernery internal gardens. I just love exploring this area. There is always new smells and someone new to snuggle up to for cuddles. I do like visiting the office door and having a sticky nose at who’s inside the office before I trundle off back into the grasses.

I have mentioned previously in my earlier blogs, but I just have to mention it again. My mornings, afternoons, well actually about 80% of my spare time is spent lounging on my big double hammock. I love to sprawl out so I get as much warm sunshine to keep me nice and toastie. I love to watch the birds in the trees not 1 meter from where I lay. I love playing this really fun game where I try and roll over on the hammock from side to side and it slides me back into the center. Isn’t that what holidays are about? Doing a whole lot of not much and finding it fun or relaxing or both?

Did I mention, the service here is impeccable!  I love my breakfast served at a specific time of day, and the kitty carers are always within 15 minutes of that designated time.

I am going to miss my servants when I go home… Ooops did I really just say that out loud? Don’t tell the kitty carers. But Kitty carers if you did happen to read this, I will make my parents my servants again… Ooops don’t tell my parents 😀
