Melbourne Cup Day!

Hi everyone,My name is Garfield and I have a proposition for you.

Felines should have the choice to be able to participate in the Melbourne Cup Races. A new race where cats are the new jockeys. It would be amazing and it could go GLOBAL!

What do you think?

I should apply for a apprenticeship as a Jockey. The requirements are as follows:

  • Physical Requirements: a light build and specified weigh. Jockeys have the reputation of being elfishly small, however the weight is far more crucial than the rider’s height. “That sounds good to me. I feel I fit into this category”
  • Natural Ability: Most jockeys are naturally athletic and have an excellent sense of balance – which is imperative for obvious reasons. “Hmmm, I might have lost a bit too much balance for this job after all, but there are plenty more cats that could still apply.” The job also requires steady nerves, as the pressure is inevitably going to be extreme.
  • Personal Attributes: A competitive streak will also work to the prospective rider’s advantage as well as liking horses to begin with.

Ginger – “I’m ready to be a Jockey and race at Melbourne Cup as soon as I get the word!

George – “I could be a Jockey. I love horses and horses love me”

Tabitha and Oracle – “Look Mum and Dad… We are in the Cup! Yay!!!
